Private (Individual) Cremation

Your pet, alone — and home to you

Your pet is cremated individually — alone, always — and the ashes that come home are solely theirs. A Cremation Identification Tag follows them through every step, so the ashes returned are exclusively your companion’s. The flat price includes home pickup, an aromatic cedar urn, a clay paw print, a fur clipping, and personal hand delivery home.

Communal Cremation

A gentle, more affordable option

For families who do not need their pet’s ashes returned, communal cremation is a caring, more affordable choice. Pets are cremated together, and ashes are not returned. Every pet is still treated with the same respect and gentleness as any other in our care.

Aquamation

A water-based alternative to flame

Aquamation is a gentle, water-based alternative to flame cremation. In place of fire, it uses a slow, natural process of warm water — many families choose it as the softest, most eco-conscious way to say goodbye. Available in private and communal options, and we’ll walk you through the difference on the phone.

End-of-Life Care

A peaceful goodbye, at home

In partnership with Saving Grace Veterinary Services — a separate licensed practice — we help arrange in-home euthanasia, so your pet can pass peacefully in the place they love most, surrounded by family, in their own bed.

A licensed veterinarian from Saving Grace comes directly to you. Following the appointment, Passing Paws coordinates all cremation and aftercare — so you never need to make two separate calls. All you have to do is be present for your pet.

How It Works

A thoughtful journey, step by step

Passing Paws walks beside you with care, transparency, and compassion — nothing along the way is a mystery.

  1. Compassionate Home Pickup

    We come to you

We come directly to your home — or your veterinarian’s office — at a time that works for your family, treating your pet and your home with the utmost respect. You never need to leave or arrange transportation.
  2. Cremation & Aquamation Options

Choose what’s right for your family

Private cremation, communal cremation, or aquamation. For private cremations, a Cremation Identification Tag follows your pet through every step so the ashes returned are exclusively your companion’s.
  3. Memorial Keepsakes

    Prepared with care

From clay and ink paw and nose print impressions to personalized urns and engraved nameplates — each keepsake is carefully selected to help celebrate the life you shared.
  4. Ashes Returned With Love

    Hand-delivered home

Within 2–3 weeks of pickup, we personally return your pet’s ashes to your door in a dignified container. Everything is handled personally — not outsourced. (Communal cremation does not include the return of ashes.)

Every Private Cremation Service Includes

No hidden fees. No surprises.

Every Passing Paws private cremation comes complete. We quote a full price on the first call — and that price doesn’t change at the door.
