How much does cat cremation cost in Los Angeles?
Cat cremation with Passing Paws is a flat $249 for communal cremation, $399 for private cremation, or $449 for aquamation — the same price for every cat, from the smallest kitten to the biggest Maine Coon. There are no weight fees, no weekend fees, no mileage charges, and nothing added at the door. The price we quote is the price you pay, and home pickup anywhere in LA County is included.

We come to you
No carrier, no car ride
You never have to put your cat in a carrier or drive anywhere; we come to your home, usually within two hours, anywhere in LA County. So many cats spend their whole lives indoors and dread the carrier and the car — for a cat family, being able to say goodbye at home, on the favorite blanket or the sunny end of the couch, is a real comfort. Our team arrives quietly and never rushes you. Take all the time you need.

The Cremation Identification Tag
Will you really get your own cat’s ashes back? Yes.
With private cremation or aquamation, the ashes that come home to you are your cat’s — and only your cat’s, because your cat is cremated individually. Every cat rests in our care, travels to the crematorium we work with, and is received back by our team when cremation is complete. With private cremation, an ID tag is assigned to your cat at pickup and stays with them through every step of that journey.
Then a member of our team hand-delivers the ashes to your home. We never ship or mail them. The whole process typically takes 2 to 3 weeks from pickup, and we’ll schedule the delivery for a time that works for you.

Aquamation ($449) includes the same cedar urn and clay paw print on its gold display stand. Additional clay paw prints are $50 and ink prints are $35 — many families with more than one person, or more than one cat, choose an extra so everyone has their own keepsake. Urns, biodegradable urns, and memorial jewelry are at products.
